Ten Fingers x iD Chula x JCC CENTER hosted 'Material Dialogue' Exhibition in Shanghai

Material Dialogue bridges the gap between design education and industrial practice. This exhibition features jewelry from the Bachelor of Industrial Design (B.I.D.) program at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, bringing together new work from current students and established pieces from alumni.

Presenting this collection at the JCC Center (International Contemporary Jewellery Center) in Shanghai places these works in a global context. The city serves as a hub for design innovation, offering a platform for our designers to engage with an international community.

The exhibition highlights the process of translating ideas into form. For this showcase, students develop their concepts through studio-based learning with their lecturers, complemented by feedback and mentorship from Ten Fingers and Design Factory. Through professional mentorship and technical production, their experimental designs were realized as high-quality pieces. These student works are shown alongside the work of alumni, tracing the path from the university's B.I.D. program to the professional design world.

Material Dialogue marks the moment where Thai design imagination meets professional execution on a global stage.
